Never Impossible - Changing Mindsets

Back in December 2011, I was passed a task to organized an Annual Dinner for my company. From my flashback from 2010, I remember putting on a Masquerade event where I faced the mindsets of my colleagues that were just too tired (or in meaner words: lazy.. haha) to dress up. But nonetheless, they'd never knew if they never tried. "Forcing" them to put on a mask as simple as it was, was a risky move for marketing but in the end, with the smiles, cheers, claps and two thumbs up all night - what else can you say about that?

But can this be repeated again? So we decided to challenge ourselves and put on a harder theme - whereby all colleagues must come dressed up as a famous icon! :) The results?
James Bond mugging Bob the Builder
The Perfect Team that worked to put the magic together :)
Drama on the right!
Hair wig exchange.. lol
And this is to prove that it wasn't all fooling around for us!

If the pictures doesn't show you that we had a good time, well.. We had a good time!
hahahaha.. And this comes to show us that it is never impossible to change anyone's mindset. It is true that sometimes they are JUST set where they are because they never knew what was over the fence.

And well, our team managed to take them and tell them that it is indeed, greener on the other side :)

InfoConnect Charity Week (Team 2) : Kaizen Home

Team 2 decided to drive as far as Semenyih to visit underprivileged children at Kaizen Home :) From a discussion with Kim Choo (Team Leader), she believed that most charity homes in the rural areas were neglected as most preferred convenience and nearby locations.

And so, set our journey to Semenyih to Kaizen Home! Go go go go!

When we arrived there, the place looks well maintained and to our surprise, the kids were wearing RED, our company's corporate colour! My applaud to Team 2 and Kaizen Home for arranging this :)

Overall, the trip was worth the trip. The kids were shy to start with but after a few songs and games, they were little devils! Well, I meant it in a cute way if you get what I mean :) It was even more fun and cheer with a shower of presents for each kid and of course with a very special apperarance by our very own InfoConnect Santa, Mr. Ooi!
In the end, I have realized that kids in general are never shy,
all they needed was some tender, love and care.
Owh, and presents too! :)
